Bacteria Testing assesses indoor locations likely to have high concentrations of bacteria including kitchens and bathrooms.

 

Bacterial illnesses are often mistaken for flu. Symptoms may include intestinal pain, diarrhea, nausea, fever, and headaches. Inadequate sanitizing of kitchens and bathrooms increase the chance of exposure to contamination.

According to the Center for Disease Control (CDC), an estimated 80 million Americans suffer from food-borne illness annually. Half of all Salmonella contamination result from incorrect sanitizing of food preparation areas.

A Bluegrass Environmental analyst will visit your home and will sample the following locations:

  • Food preparation areas

  • Personal hygiene areas

  • Floor surfaces
